HOWB 180 – Interview | Jake Beattie of the NWMC on R2AK

by admin on April 22, 2016

I’m taking a break from my Podcast Vacation today to publish another episode of HOWB :D.

Today’s podcast is a recording I did with Jake Beattie during the 2015 Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival. We talked about highlights of the festival, news at the NWMC, and more importantly the inaugural R2AK and the announced second R2Ak scheduled for June 23, 2016!

Click on the green player button above to listen to the podcast with Jake.

Here’s some pics to enjoy!

Sunset at the 2015 Port Townsend Festival. A beautiful day.

No festival is complete without a SCAMP! This is Luna, meticulously built by Dale Simonson of BC. She is a beauty.

Thanks for doing the interview Jake! I wish you the best with all your future boating endeavors!

WANT TO HELP? PLEASE LEAVE FEEDBACK! I want to build a community of people from all over the world who want to connect, learn, share stories and photos, and have fun with wooden boats. I would REALLY appreciate you sending me wooden boats pics, stories, or projects you are working on.
